Join the Treasure Coast Photography Center for a hands-on Framing Workshop designed to help you professionally frame your artwork—whether for the From The Heart competition or your personal collection. Learn essential framing techniques and leave with a beautifully framed piece, ready to display.
This workshop is the perfect opportunity to learn essential framing skills, enhance your presentation, and prepare your artwork for display. Whether you’re entering a competition or simply want to showcase your work beautifully, you’ll leave with valuable knowledge and a framed piece you’re proud of.

All the skills you need to know about framing
What to Bring:
- A frame that complements your image (must not exceed 32 inches on the longest side)
- Glass or glazing cut to fit your frame (please note, we will not be cutting glass)
- Your image or print (minimum of 8 inches on the shortest side)
- A window mat that fits your frame and enhances your image
- Mat board and filler board to properly fit your frame
- Pre-cut mats (optional) or use our mat cutter to create your own bevel cuts
Supplies Provided at the Workshop:
- Step-by-step instructions to guide you through the framing process
- Glass cleaner and microfiber cloth to ensure a spotless finish
- Canned air to remove dust before sealing
- Acid-free tape to secure your image to the mat board
- Staple gun and staples to hold the mats securely in place
- Paper backing and tape for a professional, finished look
- D-rings and wire so your piece is ready to hang
