Step into the world of experimental photography with award-winning photographer Mark Smith in this immersive, model-based workshop. You’ll explore three striking creative techniques that push your lighting skills and artistic vision to the next level:
- Water Beads & Water Photography – Learn how to capture shimmering water droplets and beads on skin, hair, and clothing for dramatic, high-impact imagery.
- Contrast Lighting – Master the art of shaping light and shadow to create depth, drama, and visual intrigue in your portraits.
- Fluorescent Photography – Discover the magic of photographing a model dusted in fluorescent powder under black light, producing surreal, luminous portraits that glow with energy.
This hands-on session gives you the opportunity to work directly with a live model, experiment with lighting setups, and refine your camera settings for each unique scenario. You’ll leave with portfolio-worthy images and new techniques you can adapt to your own creative projects.
What to Bring: DSLR or mirrorless camera, fully charged batteries, empty memory cards, and any favorite lenses (macro and portrait lenses recommended).
