Welcome
Use TCPC’s Contest Gallery to register, upload your entry, and vote. Follow these steps to ensure your entry meets requirements and your vote counts.
Voting Mode: 1-Star ONE (1) vote total across the contest (not per image). Select your single winning image.
System automatically determines 1st/2nd/3rd by total points.

Step 1: Registration
- You must be registered and logged in to participate.
- Complete the Registration Form with:
- Full name
- Email address
- Preferred name or nickname (required)
- After submitting, check your email for an activation link and click it to activate your account.
Tip: If clicking the activation link doesn’t open, copy and paste the link into your browser’s address bar.
Already registered? Log in with your username/email and password.
Step 2: Uploading Your Image
Requirements
- Formats: JPEG (.jpg/.jpeg) or PNG (.png)
- Color Profile: sRGB
- Dimensions: Long edge = 1920 px
- File Size Limit: 5 MB (enter
5120KB) - Entries: One (1) image per contest per user
Submission
- Open the Upload Form.
- Select a descriptive Category (for organization only; not separate voting).
- Submit to add your image to the User Gallery.
Step 3: User Gallery
- Verify your image displays correctly with the chosen category.
- Once the contest begins, entries may be locked; replacements may not be allowed.
Step 4: Voting Rules (1-Star)
- Who can vote: Registered & logged-in users. Self-vote is allowed.
- How it works: Your vote places 1 star on a single entry.
- Your limit: ONE (1) vote total across the contest (not per image). Choose your winner.
- Privacy: Votes are hidden; other users cannot see them.
- Changes: If admins enable Take Back, you may change your single vote while the window is open; otherwise votes are final.
- Results: The system totals points and automatically assigns 1st, 2nd, 3rd place.
Restrictions
- Out-of-gallery voting: Disabled (vote only within the official Voting Gallery).
- Voting by day limits: None — vote anytime during the open window.
- Entries per user: One per contest.
- Preferred name/nickname: Required and displayed with your entry.
- Categories: Descriptive only; they do not create separate awards.
