The Studio Lighting Masterclass is the first in a new series of professional-level Masterclasses that TCPC will launch throughout the 2026 calendar year — each designed to deepen your skills, challenge your creativity, and elevate your photographic vision.
This inaugural Masterclass, offered in First Quarter of 2026, will immerse participants in the art and technique of working with studio lighting — from continuous and strobe setups to shaping light with precision and style. You’ll learn through a mix of instruction, independent studio assignments, and group critiques that build real-world confidence behind the camera.

Launch your creative potential in the studio! This hands-on Masterclass introduces a complete approach to professional lighting — perfect for photographers ready to move beyond ambient light and into full control of their lighting environment.
Over three in-depth sessions, participants will explore continuous and strobe lighting, lighting ratios, modifiers, metering, portrait setups, and live model sessions. Each instructional block includes group critique and guided feedback, helping participants grow their technical mastery and artistic vision.
