Field trips are a vital part of the Treasure Coast Photography Center experience and a cornerstone of our 2026 calendar. Typically held on Saturdays following our monthly meetings, these thoughtfully planned outings take members to visually rich locations throughout the Treasure Coast and beyond.
Photographing alongside fellow members who share your passion creates an environment of learning, collaboration, and inspiration. Field trips offer the chance to make meaningful connections, capture compelling images, and learn from the diverse experiences and perspectives within our community.
Each 2026 field trip is intentionally paired with a monthly contest theme, giving members real-world opportunities to create images that directly support their contest entries. Locations and subjects are selected to reinforce the creative goals of each month, making every outing both purposeful and inspiring.
Throughout the year, members will explore a wide range of photographic subjects and techniques—capturing contrasts of Then and Now, working with light and atmosphere, photographing wildlife and birds in motion, exploring sunrises and sunsets, and experimenting with wide-angle, macro, black-and-white, reflections, symmetry, and storytelling approaches.
By aligning field experiences with contest themes and educational workshops, TCPC’s 2026 field trips encourage photographers to stretch creatively, sharpen technical skills, and steadily build a strong portfolio of contest-ready images—all while enjoying the camaraderie of learning together in the field.
