Ready to try studio photography? This photo shoot is exclusively for new members or members who have never attended a studio workshop or photo shoot.
We’ll work at a slow, deliberate pace, giving you time to ask questions, experiment, and understand the choices behind each photograph. Together, we’ll explore:
Lighting: How light placement and direction shape your subject.
Posing: Working with a model to create natural, effective poses.
Wardrobe: Choosing clothing that supports the look of the photograph.
Backgrounds: Exploring how different backgrounds affect an image.
Set development: Bringing the elements together to create a complete scene.
The emphasis is on learning and building confidence—not rushing through a shoot. No prior studio experience is needed.
Fee: The workshop is free. Each participant is expected to bring $20 in cash for the model’s tip.
